Mr. and Mrs. Bailey | Beaufort Inn & Old Bay Market Place Wedding

Emily and Austin won my giveaway last February and I have had an entire year to get to know them and their story. Through this whole process, I have gotten to know both of them so well, as you can imagine. Emily and I have become good friends, the kind of friend you just randomly text during your day.

Because of this wonderful friendship that has been built I really wanted Taylor to meet them so I choose him as my second shooter for their wedding day. Their wedding was in Beaufort, South Carolina. They got ready at the Beaufort Inn. When I got to the Beaufort Inn Emily was getting ready but she was stressing out about all the last minute details a wedding day can bring. As soon as she saw me Emily said, “I have been stressed all morning but now that you are here I feel like you are my rock and you just made a huge weight lift off my shoulders.” Which was a huge compliment in and of itself.

Emily was wearing her mom’s wedding dress. This dress was gorgeous. It was beautiful and classic and looked like it was made just for Emily even though it was a family heirloom. The dress set the tone for the entire wedding day. Every detail had that classic southern feel from wedding attire to decorations it was a seamless picture of southern charm.

Emily and Austin had a very large bridal party. I could tell that every one of them thought so highly of Emily and Austin. They supported them fully throughout the day as well as making the day so much fun.

Emily and Austin choose to do a first look, which was super sweet. They just gave each other the biggest hug and while they were in this sweet embrace Emily suddenly pulled away thinking her make-up might be getting all over his white tux. It was a time full of sweet tender moments like that.

Their ceremony was at the small white chapel of First Presbyterian Church of Beaufort, the perfect setting for this classic southern wedding. As the ceremony was about to start and people were entering the church they gave Austin the biggest hugs. It was a special moment for him as he got hugs from his grandma and other family members. The ceremony was simple and sweet.

After their ceremony, we went to the water to take some final bride and groom pictures. Then we went party at the Old Bay Market Place, which is a rooftop venue. The reception was filled with amazing southern food, a fantastic 80s band, a fully stocked bar, dancing, and a late night snack of French fries.

Emily and Austin had a staged exit, for party guest to bid them farewell as well as capture some last photos of this spectacular day. After that, they continued the party and even asked Taylor and me to stay and enjoy!

I am so excited for Emily and Austin and it was an honor and privilege to be a part of their beautiful day! I am happy to introduce you all to Mr. and Mrs. Bailey!
